Wow, didn't realize that this record was so bad. Wake me up in the Morning, and be sure to get me to the church on time.

She's Leaving Home

A very close second, and now I have regrets. But man, what an album.

It's always been one of my least favorite albums.  I can't wait to hear it in mono because I've heard from several people that it's a revelatory experience.

Ah CINECAST!, mono is what I was supposed to look for? People were flipping shit over stereo from what I read. Damn it. I have some work to do tomorrow/space to clear.

She's Leaving Home is fantastic, but A Day In The Life is possibly their best ever.

You'll hear some things in the mono that you don't in the stereo.  Fades, vocals, some guitar line, or drum track you can't hear in the stereo mix, etc.  McCartney says the mono mixes are superior and those are the ones The Beatles approved and the sessions that they were a part of.

Okay, I'll just forsake the stereo ones and go with Mono then.

The last two albums are in stereo only.

I had to go with A Day In The Life, just for all the interesting things they do in it and the real coming together of two great songwriters at their prime.

But I just love listening to the first two tracks on this album so much.  And Lovely Rita always has me singing along for some reason.

I voted for Mr. Kite 'cause it's insane and it needed some help.

Probably the song I sing the most when there is nothing in my head.  Which is pretty often.

Just finished Sgt. Pepper's and once again, I like colors.

1. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
2. A Day in the Life
3. Getting Better
4. Good Morning Good Morning
5. Within You Without You
6. With a Little Help from My Friends
7. When I'm Sixty-Four
8. Lovely Rita
9. Fixing a Hole
10. Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)
11. Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
12. She's Leaving Home
13. Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite

Far overrated, especially when compared to Abbey Road.
Also, for what it's worth, I keep switching the top two.
