Figured a general thread for discussion of these events would be useful.

The French Open has been pretty fun. The Men's side is as predictable as the Women's side is unpredictable. I've got Nadal and Azarenka winning it with a little something riding on it.

Also, Robin Soderling is a hunk.

Is anyone watching the French Open Men's Final. Federer has broken the serve of Nadal in the first set.
I'll be switching between this and the football this afternoon.

Yep Federer looks on it. Fed v Djok on Friday was epic. These are amazing times for men's tennis; two legends, a guy who is nearly unbeatable...and a Brit with a nasty mouth.

What football?

Yep. I don't normally care for the earlier rounds, but when the big hitters playing each other, especially these two, its a must see. Their final at Wimbledon 2008 is one of my favourite sporting events.

Oh the football, England U21's v Norway U21's. It's on ESPN 417.

I just got back in...I'll probably be playing a bit of catch-up on my DVR. I need and want Nadal to win but he's not been crisp this tournament.

I'm not as well versed in the pre-90s matchups but there isn't really much better tennis for watching than Nadal-Federer. Great first set.

Whoo! Dinner's on me. Not your dinner, and technically it is on the people I got my winnings from.

Unlucky for Heather Watson in her match. Would have probably won, had she not injured her elbow.

Blimey, there's no stopping Djokovic at the moment.
I wish I could listen to McEnroe's commentary, rather than the numpty's we've got.
