One of a few spoilers.  Not the "big" one.  That would have been lame.

Is The Prestige the one where BIG SPOILER! it's twins? If so, I hated that movie.

The banality of the twists is one of the things that makes the movie awesome.

Bolt - Still the best CGI film released since Toy Story. Miley is not too great in her role, but everyone else is. Additionally, the agent is even funnier than I remembered.

"The Prestige" is Christopher Nolan's best film.

Casino Royale (Martin Campbell, 2006) -

Great action scenes, some great dialogue, fairly standard plot, but a completely different kind of Bond courtesy of Daniel Craig. And the love story ventures into OHMSS territory, which is the best of things. Pretty great way to resurrect a great franchise. I mean it was the perfect amount of origin story, and the way it opened in B&W was brilliant.

Rating: ****

P.S. Eva Green is stunning.

Corndog, you're awesome.
I concur with everything said above. I need to revisit this some time this week.

The only thing I don't like about it is the poker scenes. Basically just the way they handle the hands that come out, so typical. I don't think poker ever translates well into film, except maybe with Rounders

Yeah, the poker stuff was AWFUL! So bad. They should not have spent even one second explaining how hold 'em works. For people that know the game it was an insult to the intelligence, and for those who didn't know, it was "whatever"... a waste of time.

In all the previous movies he plays baccarat. Nobody knows how to play baccarat. It doesn't matter! Just play, and let the reactions of the players tell the story. Idiotic decision imo.

The poker is hilarious bad. I have played hundreds of thousands of hands of poker and never once seen anything like the big hand in Casino Royale. I remember reading a post where someone figured out it was several billion to one odds for that hand to ever happen. In other words, it has maybe happened once ever!

I don't play poker so none of that bothered me. I knew it was silly but it didn't offend me.

Not only that, but all those scenes with Eva Green and that french guy off to the side commenting on the game. "If he gets a fifth heart he makes a flush!" UGH, shut up! It takes all the romance out of the game... like in Phantom Menace when they start explaining how the force is just about midichlorians.... so dumb.

The game didn't bother me, it's how they tried to jazz it up that was annoying. Every time Bond gets up there has to be some sort of action scene and how Bond is so easily mislead by Le Chiffre's 'tell' is all kinds of stupid.
