Agreement.

hmm...I don't have a counter-example ready, but disagree.

Even movies that scare the hell out of me like Psycho and The Shining I find funny in a dark, morbid way.

I guess I'm only disagreeing because I'm currently watching a horror movie that is really unsettling to me. I thought of both Psycho and The Shining when trying to think of counter-examples, but I completely agree with you on those two. Maybe once I find some humor in the movie I'm watching now, I'll agree more.

I can see what you are saying to a certain extent. I think that no matter the subject matter of a film every movie I have ever seen has had at least one moment or element that was funny, whether it was intended to be or not.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you are talking about that, but about a sort of morbid humor found in the plights of the characters you watch in horror movies? If that is the case, then again I would agree to a certain extent, but I don't share the same view. I'm sure there is something morbidly funny about The Orphanage for example, but I don't view it that way. I guess it depends on what you decide to look for in the particular horror movie you happen to be watching.

Yeah, the latter is hysterically funny. Scatman Crothers' apartment, anyone?

Yep, The Shining is essentially a study of horror via black comedy. Funny, scary, crazy...

Grace

I've had a soft spot for Jordan Ladd ever since Cabin Fever, and here she delivers another great creepy, disgusting performance. I'm glad I knew absolutely nothing about this going in. It's subject matter is something I could never have even imagined, and it really disturbed me. It is also contains just enough camp and gore so that we know it isn't taking itself to seriously. Really a solid production overall.
