People, it has Miley Cyrus, how can it be anything but fantastic?

I don't remember seeing her, so yea. And I forgot about Pee Wee. So I like two Tim Burton's.

Happy 1500 pages.

I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

For what little it's worth, regarding Claire Denis:  I started with Beau Travail.  Ended there, too.

Not that I've written her off.  Just haven't been overly enthusiastic about checking out her other films.

It's not indicative of Vendredi Soir and 35 Shots of Rum.  Other than sensuous cinematography, spare dialogue, and great use of music, that's all they have in common in with Beau Travail.

Let's make a deal: I'll take that The Personals vs. I forget for the Asian Bracket and you watch Vendredi.  *Sticks out hand* Deal?

Geesh - can you imagine someone trying to start from the beginning to catch up!?

Everything is Illuminated - Everything except Elijah Wood is awesome in this movie. I absolutely loved just about anything that went on in this film, but I found that I didn't care (and didn't like) Wood's character. It didn't really pull me out, but was a minor annoyance. Would love to see this again.

(but what do I know..)

SW: Attack of the Clones

Really not a whole lot more enjoyable than Phantom Menace, just less annoying. I started thinking about who might've been better in the role of Anakin, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers came to mind. Hayden Christensen is awful.

2/4
