Michael Clayton (2007, Tony Gilroy) Grade A

This film only got 14 total votes across 11 best of the decade categories but it contains Tom Wilkenson's, Tilda Swinton's and George Clooney's best performances of the Aughts.    The film itself is pretty good too.

Love this film.

Love this film.

Watched it with great surround sound today.  It's a surprisingly rich yet subtle soundtrack

Good Will Hunting

This was my second time watching it and I loved it even more. It's perfect.

All That Heaven Allows (Douglas Sirk, 1955)

Rock: You can't learn that from anybody. Mick discovered that for himself. That he had to make his own decisions. That he had to be a man.

Jane: And you want me to be a man.

Rock: Only in that one way. (both smile)

Nice one, Hans.  :D

every single one of these statements is incorrect.  (esp Wilkenson who is just awful here.)

That the film only got 14 votes is correct.  :P

P.S. As per the other discussion, I do like The Godfather better than Goodfellas which I actually dislike.
