Reservation Road

It's nothing Revolutionary, but it shouldn't be.

P.S. Hey, it's another movie about a road and bad things that happen. I should quit being such a downer. (But it's so much fun!)

:D :D :D I really have to see this now.

It is essential viewing. The photography is stunning. Plus of course the Sorcerer.

It's also just a plain bad ass action movie. Seriously.

The Third Man
Directed by Carol Reed; Written by Graham Greene

I knew nothing of the plot, the characters, none of it. I went in cold. But let me tell you, things got hot pretty quick.

Husbands and Wives

It's familiar ground for Allen but he pulls it off well. ***1/2

I think Frost was an economist and the poem is an elegant way of talking about opportunity costs.

Pirates of Silicon Valley (Martyn Burke, 1999)

I think I give the edge to The Late Shift, but I love Pirates as well.  RKO 281 is also a great thing.

This Reitman guy is good. Between Thank You For Smoking, Juno, and this... he's kicking some ass.

Even though I didnt like Up in the Air, I totally agree. Reitman is really someone to keep an eye on and has made three very different and interesting films.

I agree some what. Thought Thank You For Smoking was awesome, Up In The Air - I also think shows a lot of talent Reitman has despite the fact that I didn't like the movie that much. I didn't like Juno much though.
