Your insistence on placing Azkaban above the works of Colombus is disappointing, but at least you recognise the abhorrence of Goblet.

I think the films of Yates all sit so close in terms of quality, and really, the only thing that probably lifts Order above the others for me is the lack of Kloves. I don't hate Kloves as much as many seem too, but Order shows what could have been.

Order of the Phoenix
Deathly Hallows Part I
Deathly Hallows Part II

Goblet of Fire
Prisoner of Azkaban
Chamber of Secrets
Sorcerer's Stone
Half-Blood Prince

Deathly Hallows Part I and II are almost equal in quality to me, the difference is that I think part II has some plot and pacing issues that could easily been remedied in the editing room.

Honestly, recently revising them, I was surprised how terrible most of these films are. Even the ones I realy like I find myself having reservations about as actual films. Can't believe you people think so highly of them. The books are better by a huge margin.

I don't see where the Bonnie Wright problem is coming from, I thought she was perfectly fine.

As for the movies, Azkaban is still tops.

Great
1) Prisoner of Azkaban
2) Deathly Hallows: Part II
3) Order of the Phoenix
4) Deathly Hallows: Part I
Good
5) Sorcerer's Stone
6) Chamber Of Secrets
7) Half-Blood Prince
8) Goblet of Fire

I think that Yates overcomes Kloves in 6 and 7A. And I am pretty sure that if I combined 7A and B it would fall slightly, but probably still tops, or maybe equal to or just below 6. Then again, maybe if I watched the two parts as one movie the two parts would compliment each other so well that it would rise in my mind. No clue.

Kloves is the biggest problem with the films, but eventually Yates does overcome the inferior writing. Still, in the hands of a better screenwriter, I think Deathly Hallows Part I would be a masterpiece.

Sam, I think the only reason OotP is your #1 is because the cinematographer worked with that Veronique dude.

No, it's not. It's genuinely the one I think is the best. I even written a review.
