Am I right in assuming that a theatrical serial, like Les Vampires, is eligible?

Hehe, yeah... that one, Lost in Translation and Eternal Sunshine... definitely belong on my top 100 list. Now there's only the 97 other movies to consider. :)

This raises a question. I am sure the film you refer to is excellent (exquisite taste taken as read) but if it isn't widely talked about/ reviewed/ known is there any point voting for it? Like voting for the Green Party it's a wasted vote. It might make more sense to boost a film that you like just to make sure a turkey like Almost Famous never darkens the top 100 again.

1. Vote fixing is frowned upon by me...freakin' FroHam
2. Almost Famous does not darken the list, and I think you will find yourself in the minority on that one, obvi
3.
What I value the most in these lists is that it's an expression of who you are as a film lover.  Let it be truly how it is (with the exception of tv miniseries/series).

But if that means voting in that manner then go for it!

But Almost Famous is just so bland.

& vote fixing sounds like fun, it's just we would never agree on a film to do it with.

It's a guarantee that 1/3 of the collective list is going to make me groan and curse Bondo's name, so my own list might as well reflect what I really think.

Related to this, I think it's far better for people to dispense with limitations/exclusions.

Two per director. That's the only rule I have. But I'm actually thinking of making an exception.

A Charlie Brown Christmas, as a TV special, is ineligible?
