You had me at Fight Club. You are more Fincher than Coppola tho'.

That shot isn't in Brick, but I believe it's in the trailer. I think Rian Johnson talked about that in the deleted scenes.

Yes, and yes. But I like it better than any shot that's actually in BRICK.

Is The Godfather the oldest film on that list?  Impressive.

Coming from you, that sounds pretty sarcastic.

(Not that I blame you; but I did warn you about my taste beforehand.)

Fact-checking edit: THEY SHOOT HORSES, DON'T THEY? is actually the oldest (1969).

It may be best for people to post their Top 100 films in the Top Films of All Time thread and link to them in this thread.  Then we can keep the ongoing list of Top films for everyone that is at the beginning of that thread up to date.

I only posted the list in this thread because my Top 100 ballot is different from my Top 100 of All Time (which includes documentaries). But I did link to the latter at the top of my post.

Apologies for the clutter.

No worries.  I just meant that as a future comment, in case anyone posting their lists for the first time.  It would be better to do it over there, so they can get added to the master list at the front of the thread.  Or so people's updated lists could be added as well.  Just thought I should mention that before a lot of people start posting their lists.
