The two spacemen in particular are fairly robotic which may have been all Kubrick was looking for.

I would certainly think so.  HAL is most human occupant of the ship.

3- Once Upon A Time In The West - That's a stupid title.

I don't even understand. This sentence makes no sense in my head.
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

..but I would add Ryan O'Neal struggling, Jack Nicholson hamming it right up the wall, Matthew Modine, and Tom Cruise..or maybe that was just Tom Cruise. They all seem quite lost at times in his films.

It takes too long to write, I didn't say these had to make sense. As fas I'm concerned this was an exercise in sadism on smirnoff's part or a way to prove some people here don't really have the chops for critical thinking. I and along with a few others probably proved that by submitting to the exercise, *shakes fist at noff's wickedness*

Well you're half right  ;D I DID have an ulterior motive when I put this top 5 together. And here is it:

Follow-up question:
If you could go back now "George Lucas style" and adjust those things you disliked in the film in question, would you?

No.

2. Three Colors: Blue (1993)-Strippers in background are distracting...

You could digitally remove the strippers. I'm not saying I'm for or against such retroactive measures but I'd like to hear your reasoning for opposing it.

Because who am I to change the film for everyone? I'm not the only person who loves the film.

2. MEMENTO
Uh, the lighting in the bar? (I'm stretching.) No.
3. CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND
The "ghosts" in the crowd. No.
4. APOCALYPSE NOW
Fake spearing. Hmm, maybe.
5. CASINO
The "Love Is Strange" sequence. No.

I've said this a few times before, but the only Top 25 film I would adjust is to update the animation technology of Toy Story, but the original version would have to remain available.

Hell no; correct Lumet Hitchcock Kubrick? Besides nearly/all of mine were in the relationships and acting/ actors involved. Unless you CGI an actress less beautiful and perfect than Grace Kelly in to the film. I did have the thought that Rear Window could be remade/ reimagined for the 2010s but didn't someone already try that with Shia Leboeuf in it?

On second thought I do have a problem with Kubrick's apes (very men in ape masks) and his leopard with the weird eyes. Yes CGI the lot I'm sure that would be better. I am of course joking.
