Not fair. The movie was very good.

I have walked out of two movies in my life. My Brothers Keeper
I remember liking that one. Do you recall what the deelio was?
3 old men in upstate new york living in squalor. one is dying so the other two euthanize him. doc focuses on if what they did was right regardless of the laws of society. the movie just did not make me care about these guys.
Cool, I don't remember it well enough to discuss it, but my recollection is that I did care about these guys and even more importantly was compelled by their situation. Anyway, I need to see it again before I can actually say something about it, I was just surprised to read you walked out of it.

I did the same thing with The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, but don't tell any one.

almost picked this book up at the airport but went with The Steel Wave by Jeff Sharaa.

Good choice, I like him. Though I am a few books behind. I haven't read for a while.

The Squid and the Whale

This thread is a testament to the pure subjectivity of film criticism.

Other than Godfather III - there is no right or wrong answer`

other than Sofia Coppala getting it in the end there was not an enjoyable moment in the film.

Re: Movies I'd wipe off the face of the earth [because their fans annoy me]

5. The Big Lebowski
4. Napoleon Dynamite
3. Donnie Darko
2. Fight Club
1. Gladiator

I really enjoy two of those movies. But endless quotes and pseudo-intellectualizing conversations have killed them for me, to the point where I'd be okay if they didn't exist.
