Judy Davis is now, without a doubt, my favorite actress of all time.

Her performances in Naked Lunch and Husbands and Wives are simply brilliant.  An absolutely wonderful actress whose filmography I need to explore more thoroughly.

Yup, those two are some of her first tier work.  High Tide might just be my highest ranking Judy Davis performance on my list that I'll submit.  It's on Netflix Instant, people!!!  As far as I know, the only DVD of it is an Australian edition/Region 4 which was just released last year.  It's on VHS, too.  Judy Davis dancing and singing = awesomeness.  I'm going to revisit Husbands and Wives in a few hours.  That's what's holding me back from considering HT my #1 JD.

Verna: I suppose you think you raised hell.

Tom: Sister, when I've raised hell you'll know it.

I missed the Judy Davis praise. Don't forget to check out my #39--My Brilliant Career. I also liked One Against the Wind.

Bondo! Between the two of us, we should motivate many to submit their lists. :)

Check and check.

I remember when Siskel and Ebert reviewed MBC.  My goodness - how the years have flown.

If it's not too late, can you just use my ballot from last year? I can resend it, if need be.
