Yes! I'm writing stuffs!

Is everyone else still following this show? I'm really liking the direction it's headed in, with the focus on characters. Though I have to admit that I'm slightly apprehensive about where the terrorist plot is going. So far it has been engaging, but nothing I haven't seen before.

Also, I realized from the credits that the show is based on an Israeli show that some family members were telling me was really good. I wish I could check out that version as well. Apparently it was a big deal in Israel, and from the sound of it, quite a bit darker as well.

Finally, speaking of credits, the opening credits for Homeland are maybe the worst I've ever seen for any show ever.

FroHam is writing reviews of this season of Homeland over at Sound on Sight. Here's his review of the third episode. Good times! I'm still really digging the show. How do the more skeptical amongst the group feel?

I will be catching up with the recent eps tonight.  Very happy to hear that people are digging it.  I'm skeptical but open-minded.  :)

Kevin: Yes, why does there have to be evil?

Supreme Being: I think it has something to do with free will.

Verna: I suppose you think you raised hell.

Tom: Sister, when I've raised hell you'll know it.

I am really enjoying this show and I think it has huge potential. I love how they are layering on dramatic subplots and misdirection. It makes it very fun to watch.

The show is getting progressively better with each week. I'm happy I stuck with it. Danes, Lewis, Patinkin, and Baccarin are all doing fantastic jobs with the tensely written material.

Did you all see the new episode last night?

I liked it quite a bit, and I'm really interested in what new directions it might be taking. Come read my Review/recap of the episode over at Sound on Sight.

I did not see that last scene coming, but man did I like it! I'm really interested to see what happens next, and I absolutely agree with your review, FroHam- it was a great move to jump forward in time, and is on that inspires a lot of faith in me for the creators/writers.

It's unfortunate Claire Danes is the star of this show, because I'd really like to see things go badly for her character.

My review of the latest episode of Homeland is now up at Sound on Sight.

I'm really curious about a theory I've seen popping up in comment threads on other sites that maybe Saul is a mole. Does this make any sense?

I certainly hope that particular plot point doesn't come to fruition; such a silly twist might be the last straw for me.

Unfortunately, I could easily see it happening as an end-of-season reveal.
