Fight Club

Not an opening scene as such, but a unified monologue lasting about ten minutes; explaining the world Norton lives in, the depths of his psychosis, all the way up to the introduction of Marla the big tourist. Less a scene more a design for life;

"Bob had bitcht..."
The IKEA scene.
His appearance at the sickle cell group and Marla's at the testicular cancer group.
The cornflour blue tie.
"Slide"
The group of grown men opening up and crying- Sort of the anti-Fight Club (which I can't talk to you about)

Like a little nuclear weapon going off in dialogue form.

I used to encourage everyone I knew to make art; I don't do that so much anymore. - Banksy

Went with Raiders, but one opening scene that has not been mentioned is Star Wars. That Starcruiser moving in over your head to swallow the smaller starship, wow. Of course many of you would not have experienced that in the cinema.

That's an iconic shot, but what about the scene?

The scene would be ship flies overhead, swallows smaller ship. Although you could always add the troop based capture of the smaller ship as well.
