No. Bondo and I are starting a Skallamann movement instead. I need to go and sleep now but Bondo will continue the work we've started in the chat room.

I don't understand what's going on in this thread.

You are being gaslighted.

So are most people skipping this one?  This thread is so inactive :(

I'm trying to think of any modern gaslighting movies.  I can think a few from the noir era (Sleep My Love, Experiment Perilous, My Name Is Julia Ross) and maybe Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte, but I can't come up with any from the past 20-25 years.

I kinda wonder if that is a function of this movie being a little bit more seen prior to this club. I dont plan on rewatching too many to be honest.

I'd have love to revisit it but I was too busy last week.

I watched Gaslight a year ago. Thought it was overrated, but I don't remember it enough to be able to make a debate. Apparently, I didn't bother to write a review, so there's nothing to jog my memory.

I had trouble getting it, short of buying a copy.  Not on Netflix Instant, my library didn't have a copy, wasn't available On Demand.

I did order the Criterion Blu Ray of Sweet Smell of Success, however.  Hoping to get it today.
Kevin: Yes, why does there have to be evil?

Supreme Being: I think it has something to do with free will.

Verna: I suppose you think you raised hell.

Tom: Sister, when I've raised hell you'll know it.

I'm having the same problem jim has - my library has the 1940 version, but not this one. :(

Sweet Smell of Success, by the way, is on Turner Classic Movies on 11/22.

I know it doesn't help for anyone who wants to join in the conversation immediately, but I just want to put it out there.
