James Bond 007: Miss Moneypenny
« on: November 07, 2011, 05:10:42 PM »
Miss Moneypenny is one of the staples in the franchise, always there to flirt with Bond, but never do anything more. As the secretary to M, she is privy to all of his missions, as well as all of his girls, yet she remains steadfast in her attraction to Bond. She has only not appeared in the two most recent films, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

Lois Maxwell (14) - Dr. No through A View to a Kill

Caroline Bliss (2) - The Living Daylights through Licence to Kill

Samantha Bond (4) - GoldenEye through Die Another Day

Samantha Bond is such a babe, and always plays the scene perfectly. The others I don't remember as well sadly so it's not much a contest.

I gotta go with the underdog Caroline Bliss here in the upset. She is only in two of the films and heck, she is hardly even in one of them, but she, yes probably because she is younger, is the most attractive of the three in my opinion. But on top of that, it seemed like her character was more involved than the other two, did more than secretarial duties. Lois is a classic, and like you say 'noff, Samantha plays her scenes brilliantly. I really like all three.

Samantha Bond was easily the most interesting. Her attractiveness could waver depending on her hair, and the writers often gave her some of the worst sexual dialogue but she was a real pro. The bar for creating the best Moneypenny is really low.

Caroline Bliss was the most interesting to me. Her playfulness seemed a bit more jabbing and  teasing while the other two were a bit more doting than I liked.

Oh yea, and don't forget about the end of The World is Not Enough...ugg.  :-\

Am I remembering that wrong? The end is Bond and Christmas Jones.

The end he is referring to is in Die Another Day, not The World is Not Enough.

Thought so. I hate it when a good Bond film gets dragged down into the muck.
