I love your frog drawing-do you have any more in a series like that?

And to all you crazy retail drones such as Crumpet and myself-congrats on making it through the holidays without killing anyone. :)

The frog was the very first etching I ever did -- it was a one off thing made in a week long workshop.  It's not part of any sort of series, but it's one of my favourites, so I might do some similar work in the future. :)  I do love sepia ink...

Also, not killing anyone was difficult.  Luckily I wasn't at work when someone spat on one of our towels (I work in the manchester department), because I think that would have sent me over the edge... seriously, why are post-Christmas shoppers so lacking in retail etiquette?  Or general manners and common courtesy?

Here's a nice little article about the program I'm in. (I'm quoted in the 9th paragraph - please stand back, you'll all get your autograph!   ) But seriously, I love my teacher and our program so I don't mind bragging a little.  :D

Nice article, Beth.

Because as we all know, this isn't show-friends. It's show-business. :D
Rock on composing!

Aww, schucks    Thanks, guys.

Well, at the risk of overexposing myself, I just got the DVD of our concert and put my clip up here. If you've got 7 minutes to spare feel free to check it out.

There's a little more feedback and mic rustling on the recording than we heard in the audience. And don't ask me what the scene is about... it's confusing. Also, student actors - God bless 'em. But overall I'm very happy with the way things went down. I don't have a composition degree (yet) and I usually write for electronic instruments and samples, so this was a big deal for me.

For anyone interested, I spent too much time writing a fanfic piece of pulp.  No worries; there isn't any slash or really anything too warped.  Really, it's a straight-forward outline/plot-summary to a musical....THE BEST MUSICAL EVER!!!!!!OMGBBQ!!!!! Enjoy.
