Marc Caro, Jean-Pierre Jeunet and ???

Marc Caro, Jean-Pierre Jeunet and who else???

Love their work or hate it.. some of the work they have done are very unique and enjoyed by many. Such as Amélie (2001), The City of Lost Children (1995), Delicatessen (1991), Micmacs (2009) Are they alone in this type of movie making? Who else (local or foreign) is writing or directing the same "stuff"? Movies such as Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) (Director: Tom Tykwer Writers: Andrew Birkin, Bernd Eichinger) also get me excited to find and see more of similar type of movies.

What other movies can join this list? Movies to go hand-in-hand with Caro and Jeunet and Twyker?

Terry Gilliam is probably the most in line with Caro and Jeunet. I'd also say that Hugo as a film is related in style.

I don't have as good a sense of Tykwer's style though I do love Perfume (and Run Lola Run) so it's hard to really draw comparisons there.
