Might actually look in to this film. Not going to listen to the score though, knowing that.

Daft Punk 1993-2021

End of an era. I know they hadn't made any new music in a hot minute but they were certainly a giant figure in the electronic scene and music in general.

I wish they did one last album then call it quits. Oh well. RIP DAFT PUNK, a Top 5 band for me.

We're missing the real story. Bobby Shmurda is getting out tomorrow! The man is finally free. Finna play "Hot N***a" on repeat for like an hour when I wake up tomorrow. Then right over to the blassic "Bobby Bitch" itself for a few more rounds.

I'm not a huge Daft Punk fan, but they were highly influential. Last album had two songs I played a ton, Doin' It Right and (OF COURSE) Get Lucky. That was one of the "Songs of Summer" that I could never deny. I spent that summer in Guadalajara, and it was on the radio 24/7.

Been listening to like the 7 Bobby songs there are so much these past two days. All fire. Can't wait until he drops something new. It truly is Bobby, bitch, and shooting is a hobby, bitch.

As for Daft Punk, they will never be forgotten for their contribution to true heater "Stronger" by Kanye West.

We may have hit a record low this week in terms of new music. Hopefully things change in March.

Is there a moving musical moments thread anywhere here?

Every time this comes up in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I feel shaken. The best timing of this is when Joel leaves Clem's apartment toward the beginning of the film and it's like there is fairy dust in the air, shining under the lamp. Well, that might be rivaled by the time its played while Mary recites the Alexander Pope quote, or maybe even the realization that Clem and Joel's relationship is to be annihilated. Any of them could go. I could listen to this on loop.

Not that I am aware but a great idea if you want to create one, though maybe it belongs in the Movie section more than Music Talk?
