Oh, so do I. I like Ke$ha too actually. I think my analogy tackles their personas more so than their music.

Haha, in Corn's Madonna–whore complex, they're both sex trade workers.

This might be of interest.  Scott Walker chose 10 of his favorite films for Curzon Cinemas' On Demand service:

The Travelling Players; Le Quattro Volte; The White Ribbon; The Story of the Last Crysanthemums; Utamaro and His Five Women; La Cérémonie; The Match Factory Girl; Take Care of Your Scarf, Tatjana; Il Divo; The Turin Horse .

Some screenshots and synopses of the films here.

But in France, they only wanted to talk to him about American movies.

15 Albums That All Hipsters Love

The only one of these I own is Daydream Nation.  It is listed in my top 100 albums, but after revisiting it (for Sandy's thread) I discovered I'm not all that into it any more.

I've tried several times to get into In the Aeroplane Over the Sea.  It just doesn't do much for me.  I like that "Holland 1945" or whatever song.

I've heard the Modest Mouse and I like it, but I don't think I own it anymore.

I used to own that Aphex Twin but I never cared for it.  I only like his ambient stuff.

Portishead and Daft Punk are cool, but I've never heard those albums all the way through.

The rest of them I've never listened to.

Yea, I tried Aeroplane a few times. I don't get it. Also, I don't own any of these and don't care for those I have listened to. Haven't listened to Homework, though.
