Heh, Buckley's “Hallelujah”. Cohen’s original is amazing. His 80s production values are spectacular.

There's nothing wrong with Buckley's Hallelujah, it's all these other gits, Britain's got talent show etc, that have covered it since then, trying to turn out an earnest, vote winning piece of music. By the way I love Cohen's version, but that seems to be a more of a piss-up, celebratory song.

I was never a big fan of Buckley's version, but yeah, its overexposure is what completely ruined it.
