Not just me then! That's a relief.

It's a devil/angel, heaven/hell song.

Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool
Savages - Adore Life

Hi,

Something happened during the night and the "Breathing Life into my iPod" thread disappeared. The Mods and Admin have been working on trying to find an answer today, but haven't been able to bring it back. There's a chance that the high number of videos may have had something to do with it and at over 98500 views (I don't know how many posts) my theory is that it spontaneously combusted! What a way to go. :) If it reappears some day, it will be just as mysterious as its disappearance.

After four and a half years of playing catch up, I was only three posts away from reaching my long term goal of listening and responding to all the wonderful music that was sent my way. At that point I was going to put the thread under construction to make the 3rd filmspotters' playlist. It had been three years since the last one and this one would have been a doozy!

I mourn the loss of those three years of songs (and the rest of the thread) and the playlist that would have been built from them, but I would like to at least reach my goal and reply very briefly to those last three posts.

Bob Dylan is a mystery, but undeniably worth trying to solve, even if only in small ways. I'll continue to do so.

Jimi Hendrix was a shooting star that shone too brightly and disappeared too soon.

Mostly I want to thank everyone for sharing their music with me. Not only did you breathe life into my iPod, you breathed life into my life. I'm most grateful. :)

Damn, I really like that thread. We could always start a new one :D But make it a yearly thing, to limit the number of posts.
