Junior started a new thread and the videos are not posting.  With this in mind...

PLEASE STOP POSTING VIDEOS IN THE MUSIC BOARD UNTIL WE CAN SEE WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.  IT WILL TAKE A DAY TO FIGURE ALL THIS OUT.  THANKS!

How to post a link to youtube without it trying to embed it?

Thanks

Just watched a film called The World of Kanako and loved this version of House of the Rising Sun by Mai Yamane

The video has scenes from the film which may not be safe for work but was pretty amazing itself

Chance the Rapper on Good Morning America

"If you're not free to speak about God, you're not free."

Can't wait to see him in October.

Edit: Not sure if you're actively listening to music suggestions Sandy, but if you are, Chance is the one rapper I'd ask you to at least try to listen to. Luckily, a handful of his songs are clean.

I think it was Junior who posted "Sunday Candy" a while back and it has become a real favorite around here. I can't get enough of this song.  Never has church seemed so sweet. Love it.

In "Same Drugs" he's both respecting and reproving his past girlfriend. Not an easy task, but he pulls it off. My favorite lines are:

You were always perfect, and I was only practice

When did you start to forget how to fly?

In gently pointing that out, it makes me want to never forget! Grateful for a song that motivates me to not lose childlike wonder!

"Angels"   I <3 Chicago and also this song (and the things he's doing for his city). Oh, and I too "got angels all around me." :)

Thanks, Sam

Here's a fantastic reading of Same Drugs as a take on Peter Pan.

wow. I wasn't expecting that. In depth analysis and deep beliefs. Thanks, Sam.
