There's so many to choose from, even though MartinTeller has seen a good number of great silents. Was tempted to go with Flesh and the Devil or By the Law, but the one he'll be watching is Pabst's fantastic Joyless Street. Make sure you watch the full 2+ hour tinted restoration not one of the butchered cuts floating around. Those versions on youtube are an absolute disgrace.

I wanted to dictate this film not for Greta Garbo's breakout film role, but so that 1SO could see what a shame it was that John Gilbert's wonderful acting career was sabotaged by Louis B. Mayer. Therefore he gets...
