Oh come on, the Good Dinosaur is not worse than Cars!

(Let alone Cars 2 but I haven't watched it.)

The Good Dinosaur is as bad as Pixar could be.  All style, no story.  Not a single interesting moment or character in that movie.  Beautiful, yes.  Cars had beauty and some interesting characters, such as Paul Newman.  Frankly, it moved me emotionally in moments.  Cars 2 at least had Michael Caine being charming and an update on the Great Mouse Detective's clock scene.  Not up to Pixar par, but not as bad as, say, your average movie in the DC universe.

Yea! I'm not alone on this.

Cars 2
Monsters University
I'd love to read on thoughts on Monsters U to say it's worse than Cars 2.

Inside Out is the best feature film Pixar has released.

I looked at the pipeline of Pixar projects as per Wikipedia. Movies getting a sequel: Toy Story, Brave, A Bug's Life. Sigh.

Brave and Bug’s Life sequels are not official. Just wishful thinking, like Patton Oswald’s pitch for Ratatouille 2.

It was a couple of joke tweets between him and Brad Bird, but it had a similar "where's my sequel" feel to Ellen pushing for Finding Dory.
