The second episode was a lot better as far as the timing & dialogue, though I still hate the doormats they are using for female leads. Which is no mark on the actresses in any way--it's all in the writing.
And that complete, utter nonsense with the mass e-mail. Are you CINECAST!ing kidding me? First of all, it was telegraphed from the very beginning. Second, who the hell puts an asterisk in an e-mail address? It's the level of technical detail I would have expected about 15 years ago, and even then it would have sounded pretty dumb.
K. Then the third episode. Writing/timing fell back off a bit. And . . . nothing else.
My wife really wants to see this show, so I suspect I'll watch at least half the season before telling her she has to watch it when I'm not around. But so far, it's really not showing me anything.
