I didn't make it through Season 3. Too much action that I didn't find interesting and not enough story. So many people getting thrown into walls.

True. That's rarely acceptable. About the only time it makes sense is T2.

I understand though. I stopped watching Walking Dead because they were still being snuck up on by zombies in the forest after five seasons.

I mean, there was definitely a Terminator riff going on, but it just wasn't fun for me.

American Horror Story: 1984

Watched the first episode just to get a glimpse at the show behind the posters, and it was pretty good. Very different feel from the earlier seasons I've watched. Much more contained, much smaller cast, and much more straight forward story-wise. Definitely wanted a bit more of everything, but knowing the show, that's probably coming.

Well, Watchmen was brilliant. Can't wait to see it play out.

Undone

Amazon needs to do better advertising.  This is another TV show which is simply brilliant.  A Hispanic women deals with her dead father, time travel, psychosis, and her overbearing mother.  The characters and acting were magnificent and you can see it, despite the retroscope, which is used to excellent effect.   This series is simply brilliant and you must see it.  The sooner the better.  It’s short and very worth your time.

I saw the first few episodes and haven't finished it yet. It's cool that the show is set in San Antonio.

Does anyone else still watch Bill Maher? Lately it seems like the format has changed to give much less time to the panel, and much more time to initial solo guest, and the latter special guest. I feels like they have no time to sink their teeth into anything or get more than a single back and forth going over one issue. And some guests are just not suited to the show. Dan Carlin was on the panel the other day, a guy with as much perspective as anyone... I think he spoke twice, a couple of short sentences. The other guests just spoke over him and so he basically contributed nothing. Bad fit.

Judge Judy was a solo guest on the most recent episode. She seemed out of touch... pretty strange interview.

Yes. This. This is everything I was hoping that Legion would grow into, but that show's second season was a major disappointment.

No. He is cancelled. He holds retrograde positions on race and gender in many ways, is an Islamophobe, an anti-vaxxer, etc.
