I have no problem generating motivation to
try any book. It's what I do when I go to the bookstore (stand there and read the first chapter). That's fun and easy. Committing to finishing an entire book before I even know whether I like it or not it more daunting. I don't think I'd be willing to risk such a burden, and wouldn't want to impose that burden on someone else.
Would this be an acceptable policy for people? That you can abandon the book if your just not digging it?
