At my brother's recommendation:

A third of the way through and it is fairly engaging thus far.

I'm doing the Canada Reads collection this year. Currently on 1/5: Two Solitudes by Hugh MacLennan

Alan Sepinwall's The Revolution Was Televised

a look at 12 TV dramas and how they shaped today's TV: The Sopranos. Oz. The Wire. Deadwood. The Shield. Lost. Buffy the Vampire Slayer. 24. Battlestar Galactica. Friday Night Lights. Mad Men. Breaking Bad

The book is FULL OF SPOILERS, but since I've seen these series, it's all very interesting.

Sounds interesting, but since I've not even seen half of those shows it'd be a while before I would read it.

Alan Sepinwall's The Revolution Was Televised

Dig Sepinwall, love some of those shows. Put it on my to-read list. (Let me know if that was a mistake.)
