No idea on most of these. Lot of them sound like really generic '90s movie scores to me.
Beleive me, there's a very narrow range of useable scores for this game
, especially for the big, traditional, american 90's pieces. On one end of the spectrum are all the completely tuneless scores (70% or more), on the other end are all the instantly recognizable pieces like the Imperial March (about 20%). #5 and #9 represent the 10% left over. They carry a distinguishable tune, but they've not been overplayed to the point of universal saturation. Oh and it has to be a film everyone has had a pretty darn good chance of seeing once.
And even the most distinctive film scores out there are pretty generic outside of their opening themes. Take this track from
Jurassic Park for example. Everyone remembers the main song in the film, but this part could be from anything. It's just a utility piece.
It's an easy game to make way too hard, and way too easy. And hard to make merely difficult.
Only guessed on three. #6 and #9 are killing me. I know I know them.
#6 could be a real headsmacker for sure.
