Guesses:
It's early Hans Zimmer, but no clue what movie

Good call on that one!

I only knew Rain Man because I watched it a day before you put up the clips. Gangs of New York was a total guess, I've never even seen the complete film!

Good timing! :))

Does this mean I win? We are playing golf scoring right, the lower the score the better? If so, finished the round at E.

StudentOfFilm came out on top this week with a whopping 9 right!

Many others had good weeks too. Thanks for playing all!

To reference my previous post...

Sin City- recognized from trailer
Brick- heard it in a Rian Johnson tribute video on Youtube and saw in credits it was from that soundtrack
Gladiator/Rain Man/Fantastic Mr. Fox- just recognized (#2 and #8 sounded Zimmery)
Akira- I love the book, and I've seen the movie a few times
The Fly- I'm pretty sure that's the finale music
The Usual Suspects- that's the opening
Gangs of New York- I took a bit of a chance with the guess but that was a film I watched a lot when I was younger (12 year olds love movies with women and violence), I couldn't find the matching track but from listening to other parts of the score on Youtube I figured it had to be that one.

I'm still impressed that folks got Mr Fox (or guessed another Anderson film). I must not be familiar enough.

I had just seen Moonrise Kingdom and the music had a very Anderson feel to it.

I've seen FMF quite a few times and I always found the music quite distinct and memorable. Remember, it's a filmspot winner!
