Huge fan of Alex de la Igelias -- Acción mutante, Perdita Durango, Day of the Beast. The Last Circus is a memorably insane return to form after a series of milder films.

I enjoyed the more bombastic moments over the smaller character ones.... of course it's hard to top a machete wielding circus clown leading an infantry charge
