I may have to get creative with the definition of horror to even reach a Top 50 that would consist of films that I genuinely enjoy and wasn't just throwing in filler. Horror isn't one of my most viewed genres.

I'll likely be swiping a few off your list. I'm also struggling with what to do with Alien and Aliens, I think the former is a better horror film but the latter is better overall.

Of course, I put both.  I agree that the first is a better horror film, but there are enough horror elements in the second for me to throw it on the list.
