Plan on watching this once I get Xbox Live up and running again, looking forward to it. Kind of need something to watch at 10 on Sundays since Homeland doesn't just re-run at 10 now or whatever. Seems like a cool show, the pilot definitely sparked some critical praise.

Sort of okayish, I guess, with pretty generic (melo)dramatics. The side plot with the CINECAST! buddy gets especially annoying.

The first two episodes of this are really great. Both of the leads are wonderful, and the sexual politics are fascinating.

Season 2, so far, is even better than season 1.  Michael Sheen is much better this season than last.  The story is circling the relationships in an interesting way.  Too bad we won't see much of Janney.  She's so good here (as she is everywhere...talk about an actress!).

I liked season 1 but more for the premise than the execution. I felt like the show was kind of summed up by the intro, competent and stylish but hitting all the obvious notes. I have yet to decide whether to watch season 2.

Beau Bridges and Janney just kill it in the first episode of season 2. Definitely the highlight for me. I got really, really sick of the flashback structure. The showrunners sure love that moment in the door in the rain... meh.

Sheen's Masters is hard to watch. His acting is fine, but Masters is practically psychopathic this season.

Oh, the flashbacks, yeah...Wasn't that a device for points of view?  I thought it worked OK.

Yes, Bridges and Janney's scene ... so real, so heartbreaking.

The stuff with the baby was heart-wrenching. However, I've come to find Masters and Johnson my least favorite characters on the show, so an episode that consists mostly of them in a hotel room didn't really do much for me.

I really miss the study. Really, really miss it. Season 1 dealt with a bunch of flawed characters, but the study injected some humor and a genuine excitement about science (or at the very least an unsurprisingly genuine excitement about sex) into the show. Season 2 has been all flawed character without any glimmers of the warmth and humor that worked so well to balance things out before.
