Your Christmas Wish List
« on: November 27, 2013, 03:36:06 AM »
I love buying people gifts, but as I get older I dread the demands from people to provide them a list of things I want. I'd be completely fine with "nothing", but that never goes over well. So as I sit here trying to come up with a list of things that won't be a waste of money, I ask you: What is on your Christmas list?

A Like Someone in Love bluray release. I don't even want anyone to buy it for me, I just want a release date.

I wish to receive no gifts because I'm not planning on buying any and don't want to feel obligated.

Also, bah humbug.

Same.

but as I get older I dread the demands from people to provide them a list of things I want.
And same!

I always love any movie-related item I might get - I wouldn't mind the Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales from Criterion or the Four by Agnes Varda from Criterion, both of which are sitting in my Amazon wish list (a random collection of stuff on that list - I usually don't use it at all or only very haphazardly).  Anything literature-related, too, I always love; currently, I'd love to have Flannery O'Connor's newly published prayer journal and/or her collection of cartoons.

I'd like to get Sam a 90s Europe Bracket (sometime in 2014) for Christmas, now that I've figured out how to reinvent the resurrection process.

Can my Wish List be an all forum hands on deck effort to finish up the 80s US Bracket? C'mon people, put your name in, watch movies, give verdicts.

I assume you are aware of the UK Blu and want a US one?
