Let me try to confirm that on Monday. That sounds about right, though.

Officially submitted my ballot. Not implausible that when nominations are announced, I'll already have seen everything, though we're usually good for a surprise or two. But this was arguably the most prepared I've ever been (case in point the only two meaningful nominations at the Oscars I haven't seen haven't been released). Considering it wasn't my best film-watching year, what it really means is I only watch new films now whereas in my prime days I did a lot of historical viewing.

Is Free Solo eligible this year? Because it's got like half my nominations.

Does Birds Of Prey qualify as debut since Dead Pigs US release was basically non-existent?

Looks like it was festival only in the US, so yes, I believe Birds of Prey qualifies as a debut. Unfortunately it does not qualify as good.
