When should we expect nominations to be out, pix?

I'm targeting Monday now. I want to present the nominations the same way as last year, and I think a weekday is better for that sort of slow reveal. Plus the weekend might give a couple more Filmspotters time to vote and certainly give me time to prep all the screenshots, etc.

Looking forward to it, that was a fun thing to follow last year.

The lower turnout makes selecting the Overlooked Film nominees a lot tougher. (I should be asleep.)

The Filmspots have stricter requirements than the Oscars. Apparently if you've seen 60% of a film you can claim to have seen it, for Oscar voting purposes. Source: some random Tobolowsky Files episode.

Is that actually spelled out somewhere in the Filmspotting Rules/FAQ? I'm especially thinking of two films I've seen enough of (though far less than 60%) to know that I would never vote for them.

If that were a real rule I’d be a notorious offender.

Dawson City: Frozen Time is currently a 99-cent rental on iTunes and is available on FilmStruck.

Seems unlikely that I'll have enough time today to finish getting all the votes tabulated, but we'll see.
