Speak Friend and Enter
« on: January 15, 2014, 11:35:03 PM »

It's time!

Let's hear your voices! Reading, singing, soapboxing, stand up, storytelling, what have you... Use whatever means you like, but if you need a site, I was shown this one and it worked very well: http://vocaroo.com/

I wouldn't ask you to do anything I'm not willing to do, so here goes... I'm tempted to lay blame on the site, or my microphone, or that glass of milk that I drank earlier this evening, but will instead just ask for your mercy. :)  My voice isn't conducive for Austen or Brontë, so I chose something more regional; an excerpt from Hattie Big Sky

Okay, that wasn't so hard was it? Now it's your turn. :)

That was very easy to use, nice find.

More reading!

A beautiful science fiction short story written by Ray Bradbury, who is a favourite of mine. I read with my Swedish accent which probably sounds a little funny to you:

What fun! Beautiful speaking voice.

We need WillMunny and Tequila to get onboard and rule this thread for the Old World!

Ha!

I was just going to implore those without musical voices to join in quick. I'm a kazoo flanked by 2 flutes!

So lovely Lobby, thanks for sharing that. :)

Your diction far surpasses the Swedish Chef's, Lobby.  ;)

Bondo has to post us a sample of his singing on his return from his vacation.
