Gentlemen, your podcast is so rich with information that it deserves a little better treatment in the Archives Department. The show notes need to include a complete or nearly complete transcription of each program, so that your listeners can back-reference details of the topics you've discussed. I'd like to be able to quickly see a list of every film you mention in a program, even if it's only in passing; and your various top five and top ten lists need to be in print for reference.
I have two suggestions for how to accomplish this:
1. First, another (completely unrelated) podcast called "Security Now" (
http://www.grc.com/sn) quickly posts full transcriptions done by Elaine at
http://on-sitemedia.com/. She does outstanding work. You could even do a Kickstarter to fund it, and I'd happily donate.
2. Another idea is to crowdsource transcriptions or detailed notes. If you set up a wiki as part of your web site and invited listeners to help out, I think you'd be gratified with the results.
Thanks. With Ebert gone, you guys are quickly becoming my go-to for film recommendations.
