Was the score to The Proposition a Nick Cave solo project or with the Bad Seeds?

That was him and one of the Bad Seeds, Warren Ellis.

Ah, I see. No vote for me then, outside of that score I've never heard any Nick Cave.

I'd say check out Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus. That's my favourite and a good beginner album.

I also own The Murder Ballads.
Hey, nice marmot!

Murder Ballads, but it's not really fair because it's the only one I know from beginning to end.

Dig!!! Lazarus, Dig!!! is in my top 5 records of all time, by anyone. It's how rock bands should age. The Stones could take a leaf out of Mr Cave's songwriting book, instead of re-hashing the same old sex n drugs n rock n roll adolescent wank fantasies.

Its almost up there with Dylan's mid 60's electric trilogy. An immense record.
"What should have been an enjoyable 90 minutes of nubile, high-school flesh meeting a frenzy of blood-caked blades, becomes instead an exploitational and complex parable of the conflicting demands of agrarianism and artistry. I voted a miss."

what other Nick Cave have you listened to IDYM?
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

are the ones i own. The Firstborn Is Dead and Tender Prey are the only ones i dont think ive heard at all. Ive got the greatest hits, too, which a friend gave me about eighteen months ago which is what got me listening in the first place. Im trying to get my hands onto the lot, just cannae afford it at the minute.
