Not sure if Kevin Gates goes harder than YG or if YG goes harder than Kevin Gates, but both of those albums are great.

Moonlit Sailor - We Come From Exploding Stars (2014) [post-rock]
The first album from this year I've seriously enjoyed. The song "Skydiver" is particularly majestic.

Another post-rock album, but this time more in the black metal / "post-metal" / atmospheric sludge metal vein:
Audrey Fall - Mitau
Not as good as the Moonlit Sailor album I posted above, but good nonetheless.

Currently jamming to
EMA - The Future's Void
, which is an Art Pop/Indie Rock/Noise Pop album in the same vein as
St. Vincent
(maybe just more gritty and rock-ish compared to St. Vincent's more poppish stylings). Pretty good and catchy, so try it if that's your thing

I'm pretty sure Katy Perry was created in a Billboard lab. This is her new single and it is going to be HUGE.
