Not sure if Kevin Gates goes harder than YG or if YG goes harder than Kevin Gates, but both of those albums are great.

This is by far my favorite of the year so far.

Moonlit Sailor - We Come From Exploding Stars (2014) [post-rock]

The first album from this year I've seriously enjoyed. The song "Skydiver" is particularly majestic.

Another post-rock album, but this time more in the black metal / "post-metal" / atmospheric sludge metal vein:

Audrey Fall - Mitau

Not as good as the Moonlit Sailor album I posted above, but good nonetheless.

Currently jamming to EMA - The Future's Void, which is an Art Pop/Indie Rock/Noise Pop album in the same vein as St. Vincent (maybe just more gritty and rock-ish compared to St. Vincent's more poppish stylings). Pretty good and catchy, so try it if that's your thing :)

I'm pretty sure Katy Perry was created in a Billboard lab. This is her new single and it is going to be HUGE.
