My grandson Leo is taking his first steps.  He's so proud of himself!

 :)  That made me smile.

My niece will be born on March 28th.  I can't wait to meet her.

So I mentioned in the feel bad thread about my promotion being cancelled due to various things (not related to my capabilities). I felt there was an insult to injury in that certain things at work that got switched over for the promotion didn't get switched back. My schedule hadn't been switched for over a week, so it was complaining that I wasn't showing up at the right time and such. I still am getting way more e-mails than I should because the new position would have been on more lists.

But apparently they forgot to switch back my pay rate so I got paid the increased rate for a whole week. This is a much more amusing version of them being super unorganized. I don't think I'll get to keep the additional, they'll probably find some way to reverse it retroactively and withhold out of my next paycheck or something (the extra was like $28 so it isn't a big deal either way). Still, this made me smile.

Congrats, Totoro! Life's easier when you look like Jimmy Stewart.

I am, generally speaking, quite happy.  :)

That's all anyone can expect.  Congrats!
