Loved that opening, loved the crickets, loved meek Billy Bob.

The Dissolve has a good piece on Fargo in the context of TV shows adapted from movies. I also wasn't too sure about it initially but so far, it's improved with every episode.

If you told me that the latest episode of Fargo (The Six Ungraspables) was written and directed by the Coen bros, I'd probably believe you. Fantastic television.

The dialogue was incredible. Only something so Coen-esque could make conversation about organ donation, The Jungle Book, and humping dogs not feel out of context.

Loved the shoot-out in the white-out.  What a brilliant piece of direction!

I really doubt it.  She's the glue.  Gus isn't a strong enough character to carry the show on his own.

I like the show but I have to admit that I've really started to lose interest in Martin Freeman as an actor.

The time jump was pretty cool.

I think MF after the time jump was very skillfully acted. Then the sighting of Malvo and we have pre-time jump MF appear again.  It was all good.

Loved the time jump, by the way, and only two eps left to resolve this. I despair over how Molly's longing to solve the crime sucks the fun out of her current great situation.
