Was anyone else constantly thinking of Mike as a sort of Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen? I couldn't get it out of my head. There seemed to be a fair amount of overlap in their evolutions.

I was just remembering that when I was introduced to the Ziggy Stardust album, that the general context of the album reminded me a lot of Stranger in a Strange Land.
