Don't You (Forget About Me) is the obvious choice.

See, I thought "The Sound of Silence" from The Graduate was the obvious choice.

You know, that's the first one i actually thought of but i thought it was only during the opening credits. It's one of my favourite opening credits.

Good list but can't quite think of anything at the moment other than Paint it Black for Full Metal Jacket.

List of shame admission... I've never seen any Kubrick films. I should get on that :)

Wow.. you are lucky to get to watch them all (or at least most) for a first time.

I absolutely love that kind of reaction :)

Yes, I'm pretty excited to get to him. Probably won't be until next year's first quarter lull, but I may marathon it.
Also, Hitchcock, Lynch, Cronenberg, or really any directors established before I was born (94)

Never seen Pulp Fiction
or Saving Private Ryan
or any of The Godfathers

I've only seen 2 Scorsese movies :P

I have some good movies to get to.

Man I completely forgot about this movie. You're right though, this scene was a good choice.

I have another scene to add.

Heroes by David Bowie
The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Heat - God Moving Over the Face of the Waters by Moby

People have already mentioned The Graduate, Strangelove, and High Fidelity.

Seeing Wolves on the first list made me chuckle. I really like Bon Iver and also really liked The Place Beyond the Pines, but when that tune came on at the end of the film I actually laughed out loud. It was just emo overload.

I had to go with a top 10. I went with the rule that the song had to be playing during the film and still be going when the credits rolled. I left off most of the films that have been listed already (with the exception of Zodiac).

1. Before Sunset ("Just In Time" by Nina Simone)
2. Kill Bill, Vol. 1 ("The Lonely Shepherd" by Zamfir)
3. Grizzly Man ("Coyotes" by Don Edwards)
4. Once ("Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova)
5. The Royal Tenenbaums ("Everyone" by Van Morrison)
6. Listen Up Philip ("I Hear A Symphony" by The Supremes)
7. Zodiac ("Hurdy Gurdy Man" by Donovan)
8. Almost Famous ("Tangerine" by Led Zeppelin)
9. Lost In Translation ("Just Like Honey" by The Jesus and Mary Chain)
10. Drive ("A Real Hero" by College & Electric Youth)

V for Vendetta kicks over to Street Fighting Man - Rolling Stones as soon as the credits start. It's so fricken perfect.
