I'll be on a 40 hour shift throughout Christmas. Accordingly we already celebrated our Christmas yesterday.
Double time, at least?

Time and a half, which is why I'm always down to work holidays. :)

Merry Christmas everyone!

Also, my wife won.  I'm spending Christmas with my foot up in the air.  I've been designated the household "Tiny Tim"

God bless us everyone!

What has become the holiday tradition: Double feature of Oscar bait ...

One thing I miss from childhood was the point in Christmas Eve mass (after communion) where our church would bring in a semi-professional (usually a major or grad student in music at the local college) for a solo performance of "O Holy Night."  To me, there is really nothing that feels more like Christmas than hearing that song sung, with minimal accompaniment, by a female vocalist who truly has the range to pull it off.

Christmas was spend bedridden. Tomorrow is Wizarding World of Harry Potter day, even if I have to rely on a dangerous quantity of cold medicine.

My girlfriend and I had a whirlwind Christmas time.

She worked 6am-11:30pm Christmas Eve. She was supposed to get off at 7 and we were going to drive up to her family's (2 hour drive - they do Christmas on Eve), but because she got off so late, we decided to stay in town, and do Christmas with my family Christmas morning (which is our tradition) and drive up to hers in the afternoon/evening. She was quite upset over missing Christmas Eve service and traditions with her family because of work, but we made it work and everything ended up fun and cheery!
