Up early, open presents, It's usually socks and tokens these days. :(
Then to my parents about 11-12 o'clock, meet up with them. Various aunts & uncles.
To the local pub for a few pints with family members  :)
Back to the parents for Queens speech and Christmas lunch. I hope there's carrot and turnip mash.
The Queens speech is a big thing in our family.
Watch a variety of TV shows/films/sports, while drinking copious amounts of alcohol ::)

Helen Mirren recently did her version of the Queen's speech on TV. I think we can all agree with her.

We did Christmas eve with my in-laws tonight. We got a pet drinking fountain, which both the dog and the cat are terrified of  ;D  Other than that, it's been wonderful! Tomorrow is Christmas at my parents' house. I have a 5 year old nephew and 2 year old niece, and watching them open presents is such a delight. Can't wait to see their smiles.

Merry Christmas to my Filmspotting family! So glad I'm back with y'all :)

going to spend xmas in Germany.. between xmas and New Years we will bring the Maisy up to Amsterdam by train, over to UK on ferry and take her to the farm in Wales for New Years which will be her home for the next half year.

She is loving the weather

Such a great looking dog. What do you mean "take her to the farm in Wales for New Years which will be her home for the next half year."?

When I accepted to work on the project in the UK, there was the possibility that I wouldn't able to keep her for a while, at least until I know if I will permanently settle down here.  One of my friend in Singapore is from Wales and their family has a farm so they agreed to care for her for a period of time.

Merry Christmas!

I'll be hanging out with my immediate family who live about a mile away from me. We all plan on going to Church, so I'm not sure how much we're going to do before that. We also have a steak dinner to round off the day. Should be fun.

Dad's house for the first half of the essay, ending in watching the Celtics. Then over to my Mom's for movies and stuff.

Also, merry Christmas to all!

Did a trip to see if I could find my homeless friends who got swept this week.

The rest of the day is with family at my house.  One highlight will be introducing ourselves to Exploding Kittens, due to FS acclaim!

My girlfriend hit it out of the park in the present category! Wilco tickets, Bulls tickets, CD-Rs that look like old records (they even have the grooves in them), and a Casio calculator watch.

Yeah, Exploding Kittens won Christmas. Thanks for that recommendation.

Yay! We had only ever played Exploding Kittens at friends' houses. We got our own copy from my sister this year and played a few 2-player rounds last night. So much fun.

What we enjoyed even more than Exploding Kittens is Superfight.  A card game where you receive a set of cards, try to create superheroes out of a variety of characteristics and defeat villains that also have a random set of characteristics.  It sounds weird, but you really use your imagination.
