At present I've only seen one of the documentaries and I would not vote for it. Might get 1-2 others in by the end of the month though.

A question for the voters. If you've only seen one nomination from a category do you vote for it anyway? Not do we have to vote for it. But would you personally give it a default vote?

If I think it's great, I would vote for it. pixote's algorithm factors in "uninformed" votes. That's why you have to list the films you haven't seen on the ballot.

Likewise, I would abstain from voting if I don't support any of the choices even if I've seen them all.

How come Force Majeure is in the Best Debut Feature-category, when it in fact is Ruben Östlund's fourth feature (Gitarrmongot 2004, De ofrivilliga 2008 and Play 2011)?

Completely missed the nomination vote this time due to life getting in the way. 'In the goo' from Under The Skin would definitely have made my ballot. As would 'be a shoe'.

I wouldn't give it a default vote, but I might vote for it if I thought it was really good and "award worthy".

Pix can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's because it was his first released in the US.

Citation :)

Force Majeure

This is a debut?

apparently so, IMDB is saying its the first to get a theatrical US release.

I'll second this if it is eligible.

And, on a campaign note... go see Force Majeure!

Does The Raid 2 work on its own, or do I need to watch the first one beforehand?

It works on its own.
